Bio
Wild Flight began high in the Colorado Mountains summer 2019 when two singer-songwriters decided to play and sing for the pure joy of it! Five albums later they've gathered some of the finest musicians around to record and perform original music and uniquely arranged cover songs.
Eric Gross is a powerful singer, songwriter and piano player who studied music in Boston and spent his early career recording and touring between Boston and Nashville.
Emily Jurick writes and sings from her roots in blues, rock and traditional western music. Drawing on colorful life experiences, she uses her sensual voice to tell stories in a creative and fresh style.
Wild Flight band on stage and in studio, includes Bill Ritchen on bass, Kellen Michael on guitar, Rob Labig on drums & percussion and Sage Vickers on drums. Working as a duo or trio for intimate settings, and a full band for larger venues, Wild Flight appears at festivals, clubs, house concerts and private events.

"Last night we attended the CD and music video release by Wild Flight. This is a local group that is pretty new on the scene here. It was a great night. The music was excellent. They performed several original pieces which were very good and they also did some covers. The covers weren't just rehashed versions of popular songs but imaginative rearrangements. "Ring of Fire" was refreshed and revitalized and I suspect Johnny Cash would have loved it. I would recommend that anyone who enjoys really good live music should keep an eye out for this group and go to one of their performances.

2026 Live Shows have been extensive & we're back in the Grand Junction area this Fall, including at Moody's Underground, Restoration Vineyard and closing "Porchella 2026" at Trail Life Brewing in downtown GJ! These are all great venues for the 6-piece Wild Flight shows.
2026 Highlights include the stunning Wheeler Opera House in Aspen, the 65th Anniversary party at Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass and the Thursday Night Concert series on Fanny Hill in Snowmass Village! We are thrilled to have been invited to Big B's Delicious Orchard for a June show and we really look forward to returning there in 2027.
