Wild Flight Promo Photo 6.4.21.jpg

Wild Flight is a singer songwriter duo from the mountains of Western Colorado. Eric Gross and Emily Jurick write and  perform roots rock style original songs influenced by rock, blues and jazz. Performances mix in unique arrangements of classic and unusual cover songs by favorite artists.

Eric Gross is a singer, songwriter and piano player who attended Berklee College. He spent the early part of his career based in Boston and Nashville, recording and touring with several artists. Eric plays and sings both powerful, soulful songs and sweet melodic tunes.

Emily Jurick writes and sings from her roots in blues, rock and traditional western music. Drawing on colorful life experiences, she uses her sensual voice to tell stories in a creative and fresh style. Emily covers the spectrum from classic rock to jazz standards in the covers she chooses to sing.

Discography - Wild Flight released its first EP in 2020, the self-titled “Wild Flight”. In 2021 the six-song EP “Drifting” was released. These original songs are written and composed by Eric and Emily with unique arrangements and warm, skillfully blended vocal harmonies. "Live in the Grapevines" was released in December 2022 and singles from the upcoming EP "Ocean of Love" are scheduled for release beginning February 2023.

July 19 2022 Concert Review - Music in the Grapevine Series  - Two Rivers Winery - Redlands CO.

"Loved the whole show from the Sade opener to "Whiskey Talking" closer. The sound and balance seemed just right. I enjoyed the new pieces 'Look at that Moon' and 'Raise Up Your Window' . The vocal leads and blends from Emily Jurick and Eric Gross were awesome. Instrumentally, the conga and traps, like the chimes, were very tasteful while still adding space Rob Labig (percussion). John Brown (bass) and Sofia Benham on (drums) were the usual consistent tight backbone while Eric  (keyboards) and Kellen Michael (guitar) had some great moments on leads. Kellen was smoking hot all night long. The venue is awesome and I believe the members of the Art Center Guild were very impressed, and rightfully so. You will be invited back. Way to go to the Wild Flight team. Dan Fielding Redlands CO.

March 20, 2022 - Club Show Review   Charlie Dwellington's (Grand Junction CO)

"Last night we attended the party celebrating the CD and music video release by Wild Flight. This is a local group that is pretty new on the scene here.

It was a great night. The music was excellent. They performed several original pieces which were very good and they also did some covers. The covers weren't just rehashed versions of popular songs but imaginative rearrangements. "Ring of Fire" was refreshed and revitalized and I suspect Johnny Cash would have loved it. I would recommend that anyone who enjoys really good live music should keep an eye out for this group and go to one of their performances.
